Hash Brown Omelette
An easy, crunchy n quick weekend brunch recipe. Appetizing and can be made with many combination of eggs or meat or veggies.

Hash Brown Omelette

Serves: 1
Serving Suggestion: It’s a meal in itself. Serve with choice of sauce.

Tools:
1 Medium nonstick pan
1 Large Serving Plate
2 Small bowl – for whisking egg
1 Fork – for whisking egg

Ingredients:
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Milk – Room temperature
½ Large Boiled Potato – Shredded
1 Slice of Bread – Crumbed (I’m using brown bread, you may use any bread or store bread crumbs)
1 Pinch of Rosemary – You may use any herb of your choice OR Optional
1 Tbsp Shredded Cheese – You may use any cheese as per choice
1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt (As per your taste)
2 Tsp Olive Oil – For making the omelette

Method:
  1. Add 2tsp in nonstick pan, heat on high flames for a min and reduce the heat to low.
  2. In a small bowl, mix shredded potato, bread crumbs, salt, red chili powder and rosemary.
  3. In another bowl, add milk, egg and whisk until a smooth batter is formed.
  4. Pour the batter over low heat onto the nonstick pan.
  5. Now add the potato mixture over the egg batter on the pan and cook on one side for about a minute on low heat.
  6. Carefully turn to the other side (make sure you have enough oil to crisp the potato) and cook for another minute.
  7. Serve Hot.
