Serving Suggestion: This can be served as an appetizer with drinks/tea OR can be consumed as is.

Bowl - For mixing Ingredients

Medium non-stick wok/pot - For Deep Frying
Ingredients:
1½ Cup Raw Peanuts – Roasted
1 Cup Gram Flour – (Besan)
¼ Cup Water
½ Cup Oil (Any flavorless oil will work) – For Deep
Frying
1 Tsp Baking
Powder/Baking Soda
Seasoning or Spices:
1 Tsp Turmeric – (Haldi)

1 Tbsp Mango Powder (Amchur Powder)
1 Tbsp Red Chili Powder
Salt – As per taste
1 Tbsp Chat Masala - Optional
Method:
- In a medium bowl, mix peanuts, gram flour, turmeric, baking powder, mango powder, red chili powder, salt and add enough water to make a very thick (clingy) smooth paste. (As per pic above)
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok on high, once the oil is heated, reduce the heat to lowest.
- Drop 1 peanut (mixture) at a time, making sure they don’t clump/cling together. Add as many fits the wok and are easily stirred.
- Keep frying the peanuts at low heat till they become slightly brown (Takes 3-4 min/batch).
- Remove the fried peanuts to a soaking paper napkin and cool completely before storing in an air tight container.
- This can be served Hot OR Cold as per choice.
